Learn where your needs are similar and where they are different. Increase your understanding of what motivates you and them during decisionmaking. Discover how you may process the things of life differently than they do. As we better understand ourselves and others, we are able to be more constructive in relationships.

Prayer and Meditation: Our Vital Connection to Peace and Joy
What might happen if we asked God, in each day, to do more than we as human beings can imagine? What might happen if we asked Him for all the blessings that He wants to give in that day?
Sometimes we may hesitate because we have asked Him for things in the past that we have not yet received. But God answers on His timetable, and sometimes His “No” may be more loving than a “Yes.”
Learning to Know God Better, and More Deeply Experiencing His Love
In the United States, many of us have heard from childhood that “Jesus loves me.” But how many of us experience the loving Presence of God from day to day? “You will seek Me and find me,” God promises, “when you seek me with all your heart.” How may we see Him more clearly? How may we see ourselves more accurately? Examine the negative beliefs that block us from wanting to see ourselves - and Him – more accurately.
Renewing the Mind: How to Develop Healthier Ways of Thinking
St. Paul begs us to be “transformed” by the “renewing” of our minds, so that we may experience the goodness of what God has for each of us. Unfortunately, we may occasionally be held back by a spirit of heaviness or fear that exploits negative beliefs about ourselves, others, and even God. As we learn to identify the negative beliefs, we may open the way for the Holy Spirit to more effectively replace them with the truth of Scripture, and experience more fully who we truly are in Jesus.
